   Summary

   Izuku hums to himself as he climbs up the ladder to the old treehouse he found in the same forest they used to play in as kids, backpack full of goods, the memory of the recent villain fight in mind ready to be analyzed and noted down in one of his legendary notebooks. It’s only his quick thinking that keeps him from falling back off the edge of the entrance of the treehouse when he sees a mound of red feathers, it takes him another moment to register that said mound is moving, in sync with someone’s breathing to be precise. There was someone, a stranger, sleeping in his tree house, his home away from his not home.
