Summary
Haunted by the ghosts of her father and the love she herself condemned, Jaina throws every ounce of energy into making Theramore prosper. Yet at night she lies awake, wondering about what could have been. Until one day a strange courier arrives, and she suddenly finds herself presented a (rather strained) second chance.
Sylvanas is trapped in a delicate situation; having not killed Garithos, she is now in a failing power struggle with the living who want to reclaim Lordaeron. Seeing no safe outcome for her people, she begins to send envoys out to the Alliance, only for all of them to be killed on sight.
Desperate and furious, she reaches out to a fledgling state on little more than a whim. She prays her undead heart will bare yet another blow; seeing Jaina Proudmoore, alive and well.
