Summary
It has been a decade since Castiel gave himself over to Dean in Hell. A decade since he placed a handprint on the man and claimed him for a mate. Now, hopelessly in love, Castiel finds himself in the bunker library, broken and in pain, and needing the help of the only person he cannot not ask to give it.
He couldn’t pretend it didn’t ache, the knowledge that his mating claim would never go anywhere.
But if given the chance to change what had happened, he would still do it just the same. He would do it all, and more, for Dean.
