   Summary

   What if Cid didn’t defect after the Bozjan Incident? Instead of fleeing to Eorzea and establishing the Garlond Ironworks, what if Cid took his father Midas’ place in the Empire? In this Alternate Universe, Cid soon discovers that his father was tempered by Bahamut and vows to rid the Star of all Primal summoning. He accompanies the XIV Imperial Legion to Eorzea in order to subdue the Eorzean beast tribes and stop them from summoning their gods. He soon sees an adventurer defeat the primal Ifrit and recognizes her from his dreams. Just who is this woman and why is he so drawn to her?
