Work Text:

Geno put his phone down, and lay back to sprawl across Sid's gigantic bed. His feet hung one off the side one off the end, dress shoes already kicked off some time ago. His head was turned to the side to watch Sidney in his master bathroom fussing with his hair, as he had been for the last ten minutes.

Geno allowed his eyes to drag down from where Sidney's hair was already perfect, across wide shoulders straining against the cobalt blue button down he wore, down his sides to the waist Geno loved to put his hands on, lingering on his hips, curved across his luscious ass that his black dress pants barely contained.

A grin curved at the edges of Geno's mouth as he took in those bowed legs, the form of someone who had been skating nearly since birth. They proudly proclaimed the work ethic of the man before him. His perusal ended at Sidney's socked feet, spread as if bracing himself for a battle. Geno let himself take it all in before he looked back up at Sidney's face in the reflection of his mirror where the man was becoming more and more frustrated as his hair failed to do whatever it was he wanted it to do.

"Not have to go out if you don't want to, Sidka," Geno finally said. The man stopped his fussing and turned to look at him, objecting pout already forming on his lips.

"You already cancelled going out with your friends so we could go out on a date night."

Geno shrugged from where he was on the bed. "Just wanted to spend time with you, Sidka. Been so busy. First night off in sooooo long." His voice had taken a whiny edge. "Think you forget about you boyfriend."

He wiggled a little as if to bring attention to himself, as if Sidney's eyes weren't already on him, watching him. And, well, Geno knew he looked good in his one tailored suit, light grey in color with matching vest and deeply purple button up, tied together with a black tie. But it was also entirely too flattering the way that Sidney didn't seem he could take his eyes from him now that he was looking, eyes dipping down every few seconds to take it all in before coming back up to meet his eyes.

"But your friend just opened up that new restaurant. You've been talking about wanting to eat good Russian food for weeks now. You made a list of all the stuff you wanted me to try."

But Sidney had already left the bathroom and was standing between Geno's socked feet, which was a sign of concession if there ever was one. Sidney never left anything unfinished if he meant to do something. Geno crowed internally in victory.

"Can go another night. You look tired, Sidka. Been working so hard, carrying weight of team on you shoulders all by yourself. Forget the team has staff to help, have A's to help. Need a break." He taps Sid's hip with his toes. "Seem like maybe you not want to go out tonight. Want to stay in."

Sidney sighed, and Geno saw as his shoulders sagged, as if the weight of having to go out in public had been lifted.

"Just don't forget to call your friend and cancel our reservation," he said, and had already begun unbuttoning his shirt. Geno watched for a second, tongue sweeping his lips in anticipation.

"Already texted Sasha ten minutes ago. Ordered dinner. Will be here in twenty minutes." Sid huffed at him, but the smile on his face belied any negative feelings.

"Well then, you gonna join me in getting out of these ridiculous clothes or what?" Sid asked playfully, lingering over a button.

"Feel so tired, Sidka. Might have to help me." Geno wiggled his eyebrows, grin splitting his cheeks. And Sidney rolled his eyes. But once he had finished unbuttoning his shirt and pulled the tails out of his pants, he slowly crawled onto the bed from between Geno's legs and gently up his body until he was sitting on Geno's thighs.

"You're ridiculous," Sidney said in a soft voice.

"Love you, Sidka." Geno said back, completely unrepentant.

Sidney leaned down as he reached for Geno's top button and gave him a soft and gentle kiss, just enough to feel, to tease. Geno couldn't help his hands reaching for Sidney's hips, clutching as they continued to trade gentle kisses.

"I love you too, Zhenya" Sidney whispered against his lips, and then they continued to kiss, forgetting for the moment about getting undressed.
