   Summary

   Season 4 AU:
   Merlin's carried Arthur's sigil around everywhere after being entrusted with it. One day he runs into trouble, where the wrong people discover the sigil, and he gets mistaken as Arthur's husband. While Merlin's life is being ransomed and Arthur is freaking out back in Camelot, Merlin manages to escape but doesn't know that he is now considered the king's consort. Cue shenanigans.
