   Summary

   The apocalypse had pushed thoughts of soulmates to the back of everyone's minds, the idea seemed more painful than hopeful— to write a message on your arm and hope to God it didn't appear on the decaying skin of a walker was too much for most to bear.
   Putting his life on the line for a red expo marker had to be the dumbest shit Daryl Dixon had done since the start of the damned apocalypse. The hall was full of walkers, but there, at the end, sitting in its track below a whiteboard, covered in a thin film of dust, he saw a chance.
