    Summary

Hamid Saleh Haroun al Tahan is not the most frustrating person Grizzop has ever met.

It is, in fairness, a title with stiff competition. There have been a number of people who he has met while traveling with Hamid that are ranked significantly higher: the cult of Mars, collectively, Bertie, in the few days they had, Oscar Wilde, in essentially every moment when Grizzop has to directly interact with him. Eva spent a non-insignificant portion of time at number one, but then, he frustrates her too; it's not an effective mentorship relationship if you never want to throttle each other.

Hamid is more complicated than that, on the whole. He is many things: possessed of one of the most exasperatingly wobbly moral compasses Grizzop has encountered in anyone he's willing to spend significant amounts of time with, comfortingly short, full of far more power than he knows what to do with in a responsible manner, and pretty. Very pretty. Annoyingly pretty. A significant portion of the placement of Hamid on the list at all is the combination of said moral compass and his unfairly perfect hair and sharp cheekbones.
