   Summary

   After Chihiro leaves, Haku--now Kohaku--despite saying he was going to have a talk with Yubaba, suddenly can't bear the thought of facing her again. He decides to risk returning to the human world, where he will truly be free again...even if that means death.

   But things seldom go as planned.

   In the land of Ingary, a stranger shows up on the doorstep of the moving castle. Howl has his misgivings about helping another spirit. He does not want to be bound to anyone or anything ever again.

   The magic in the air surrounding the castle is overpowering, but it's the only place for miles that Kohaku can see. He must be careful if he doesn't want to end up walking straight into making another contract in return for a place to stay.

   How can a cowardly wizard and a tormented river spirit learn to trust each other?
