Summary
Osamu and Rin have been dating for years, ever since the very beginning of high school, when Rin walked into the gym, looked at Osamu, and said the words that were scrawled across his right forearm. Still, Osamu is fairly certain that he and Rin, for all that they love and are in love with each other, have never been able to forget about the other set of words on the both of them: printed in a beautiful, small scrawl across the back of his left shoulder and Rin’s right forearm.
Eventually, Osamu had kind of given up hope that he and Rin would ever actually meet their other soulmate— that is, of course, until Akaashi Keiji arrives at his onigiri stand at the start of the Black Jackals versus Schweiden Alders game that Atsumu had been begging him to come to for months, looks up at him, smiles, and says, “Onigiri Miya is very good,” and Osamu had thought, finally. Finally.
But, well. Akaashi Keiji isn’t at all like he expected. He’s cagey and awkward and seems terrified when Osamu says soulmate words that must be written somewhere on his body and—
Well. And Akaashi Keiji is married. So there’s that too.
