Summary
It's Xiao Xingchen, the best part of the apocalypse, whose ass Xue Yang has been admiring from afar when he sees him out on his semi-weekly school field trips (it’s not much of an ass, to be honest, but it represents a world of possibilities). Xue Yang hasn’t had many opportunities to see him up close, but now he can see how perfectly his adorable nerd glasses frame his face, and the reflection of sunlight across his hair, which falls a little past his ears. Any thoughts Xue Yang had of leaving the aisle fly out the window.
He can also more clearly see the wedding band on Xingchen’s finger. Xue Yang knows he’s married to someone named Song Lan. A man named Song Lan, and Xue Yang is taking this information only as proof of his chances, because he likes a challenge, and who stays attached to monogamy once the world ends? Besides, he’s going to get bored of this place eventually, might as well go out with a bang.
