Summary
Ningguang breathes a cloud of smoke through her nostrils like a dragon, and says airily, "Are we? Friends, I mean?" She puts that bored look on her face again, and with a flourish of her pipe she sets her attention back on reading through some paperwork. It's all a front - they both know that this sort of thing might work on Ningguang's usual clientele, but it doesn't do a single thing to scare Beidou off. "I don't believe I'd have the bad sense to befriend a pirate who stirs up trouble in my territory and never sticks around long enough to clean after herself. Quite frankly, I'd have a better time befriending a stray dog off the street."
She shoots a pointed glare at Beidou over the top of her papers, before setting them down to mark off and stamp - this time with a deep black ink, meaning corrections ought to be made. Very intimidating.
Beidou locks eyes with her and smirks. "Woof," she says - a challenge.
