Wonderful work that fills in the gaps of Snape’s time as Headmaster from his messy POV. Seeing Snape actually grow to respect Neville was amazing as their relationship was so previously tumultuous. Snape’s musings on the rest of the Staff & their hatred of him makes a lot of sense for someone like Snape whom is used to being despised, but it’s still rather saddening even if it’s very understandable from everybody else’s POV why they act the way they do towards Snape.
