Anyone Server Board
Anyone:
I got a request on the server to make a Ready As I’ll Ever Be parody, so I put together a group to make one. We actually had a lot of fun with this. The man playing the proxy of Varian, All For One, happens to be a semi-retired villain and was quite amused to take part. Thanks to Snowdrift, Inferno more Inferyes, Kurogiri, All For One, and the illusionists and shapeshifters who helped with the project.
Disclaimer: I don’t actually know if the villain was shoving a real corpse or not, but no other human or animal was harmed in the making of this film. Here it is:
(All for One and Yami are standing in an apartment. You can’t see the villain’s face. He drags Yami through Kurogiri’s warp into his bar and drops him on one of the stools)
AFO: Any moment now Yami. I’ll give them what they want. I was once a vigilante. My quirk giving power to those that needed it to protect their families from discrimination and taking it from those that feared it. But they turned on me. And I gave them the villain they desired! Forced to kill my blood brother, his lineage has tried to kill me ever since!
(AFO turns away so Yami doesn’t hear)
Now 200 years later even my own son fears me.
-singing-
Believe me, I know
I've sunk pretty low
But whatever I've done they deserve
(Yami: All For One!)
Quiet!
I'm the bad guy, that's fine
It's no fault of mine
And some justice at last will be served
(Yami: Please listen.)
Now it's time to step up
(He puts on a suit jacket and his metal villain mask though you never saw his face before anyways)
Or it's time to back down
And there's only one answer for me
And I'll stand up and fight
Cause I know that I'm right
(Throws open a door, therein lies an armory with guns and knives and any weapon you can imagine)
And I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready
Ready as I'll ever be
—Cut Scene—
Nighteye and All Might in weakened form in hallway
Nighteye: All Might, are you sure you’re up for this?
AM: Yes, but I only have about two hours use of OFA left.
Nighteye: Are you sure that’s enough? This is AFO we’re going to fight!
AM: Do we have any other choice?
(He turns to his muscled form and walks into a conference room filled with heroes)
-singing-
AM: Now it's time to rise up
Or it's time to stand down
And the answer is easy to see
And I swear by my name
If you're in, get on board
Are you ready?
Endeavor: I'm ready (he stands)
Hawks & Miruko: We're ready (they stand)
Heroes: We're ready (all stand)
AM: Ready as I'll ever be
(AM turns around to walk out the door with the heroes following)
—Cut Scene—
(Dabi’s living room)
Shouto: There you are brother.
Dabi: Yes, don’t worry. I just had to check with the Anyone server and get some info. They said your fire and ice dual quirk will be handy for this mission.
Shouto: I’ve gotten pretty good with my fire now.
-singing-
Dabi: Are you quite sure we can do this?
Shouto: Together we will guarantee!
(He opens the front door)
—Cut Scene—
(Atop a skyscraper at night)
AFO: I'll make them hear me
(He kicks what looks to be the bloodied corpse of a villain off the edge of the roof.)
—Cut Scene—
(Walking through the back streets towards a villain hideout)
Heroes: Now it's time to redeem
Or it's time to resolve
AM: Prove they can trust me
Heroes: And the outcome will hardly come free
—Cut Scene—
(Out on the street)
Shouto: I'll save my home and family
(Dabi takes a photo of the four siblings and their mother out of his pocket, the wind nabs it and it flies into the camera)
—Cut Scene—
Heroes: Now the line's in the sand
And our moment's at hand
Hawks: And I'm ready
AM: I'm ready
—Cut Scene—
Shouto & Dabi: I'm ready
—Cut Scene—
AFO: Ready as I'll ever be
(Disappears in a warp quirk)
—Cuts to Black—
Hawks cracks up laughing at it when he sees the final product. The next time he passes near Shouto he yells out, “Hey Rapunzel!” Shouto immediately looks at him. “I loved what you did with the music video lyrics and choreography.”
He gets a thumbs up. “I did too. I got more evidence for my theory that Yami is that villain’s son. I also got to annoy Dabi by singing the song for hours as a ‘rehearsal.’”
