This is so sweet and so heart wrenchingly toxic. In the sense that izukus personal toxicity is just elevated so far beyond canon. It’s like he has more family here and more transparency here, but it comes with an added involvement. The problem being that he sees this involvement not as a stepping stone or learning opportunity, but as a personal duty. It’s a responsibility that he takes so seriously it almost comes across as arrogant. Like he can’t trust the professionals to do their job without him hovering. He wants to do everything in his power to help but doesn’t factor in that sometimes you need to build up some, like in school 🙄, before you are the most powerful weapon in the board.
