This time, Jean does let out his hiss, and he bares his teeth. Jeremy shuts up. “You are my partner,” Jean says, “yet you do not let me protect you or meet any of your needs.”
Jeremy stares, then furrows his brows. “Jean,” he says, then stops. He swallows and takes a deep breath while Jean stares down at him angrily. “Jean,” Jeremy tries again, "I'm - not going to ask you for sex just because we’re partners and you feel obligated -”
“Pah!” Jean spits. “If you were not so busy running away from me to see your friends, you would have seen that running is unnecessary long ago.”
Title from One Minute by Krewella bc my favorite line is "I'm your kitty girl, and your back is like my scratching post / Come, make me scream like I seen a ghost" but felt like it was a bit too on the nose lol.
