Ena always checked her locker. Because it’s Valentines, surely it’dn’t be any different. Surely, Ena’d see the letter. Mizuki grasped her phone and unlocked it. Maybe she didn’t see it. Maybe Mizuki had to message her.

"That's nice," Toya replies absentmindedly, only half paying attention whilst he's still in the middle of writing down the answer to the question he's currently on. Something about remembering the correct prefixes, but they've all been swiped from his mind, apparently.
"So… I was thinking we should go try it out together. This weekend, if you're free?"
Toya looks up from his sheet now to fix Akito with a glare. "Well, I guess that depends on how much work you get done today."
Akito groans, head collapsing into his arms on the table. "This is so fucking evil."
Toya and Akito arrange a study date together! Well, it's too bad they can never stay on task.

It’s been twenty-two years, after all, and twenty-nine since they’ve met. He’s forty-five and Toya’s forty-six, and Akito doesn’t think this fondness will ever leave him.
