Kei wishes he could delineate the gap in Yamaguchi's memory. He remembered his old flip phone from first year, but he didn't remember Takeda. Does that mean his memories stop somewhere before they joined the volleyball club, or is it less clear-cut than that? It probably isn't fair to ask Yamaguchi what he can and can't remember. It's like asking him to remember the last footprint he left.
In other words - Yamaguchi forgets, and Kei starts to realise something he should have known all along.

Summary
Everyone thinks they’re dating. But they aren’t. They’re just best friends. So it comes as quite a shock to Kei and Tadashi when they begin to hear whispers that they’re dating. The wheels begin to turn for both of them, and all it takes is a simple conversation to turn best friendship into something more. But is this new territory for them? Do they have to actually flirt now? Unconditional love came so easily before, but does dating mean they actually have to label their hang outs ‘dates’ and give each other ridiculous nicknames and things like that?

Summary
Kei has a collection of flowers in a mason jar on his desk. All dried, all frozen in time after having been pressed between the pages of a book. It vaguely irritates Kei, but not for the reason he would expect. It doesn't bother him that someone leaves these in the library books. Not really, even though it should.
It bothers him that he can't put a face to the person doing it.
