   Summary

   Whilst some may claim that happiness could only be found by ridding oneself of distraction, Alastor found himself seeking out more and more things to do with his time as the day wore on, the hour drawing ever closer to the time Vox would visit and they would need to discuss all that was said the previous night.

   All that Alastor had said.

   He still couldn't quite believe he'd revealed his entire hand so easily – it was a good thing he had never been tempted by gambling. Or perhaps he would have done well? His poker face was stellar, so as long as he kept his mouth shut and didn't let thoughts of Vox make him say or do anything completely foolish, he might just clean up.
