“Don’t worry, I’ll do it,” Mike protests weakly, but Will ignores him. “You need to rest, yeah,” he continues softly, swallowing audibly at the thought of Will’s fingers on him again.
“I want to take care of—” Will mumbles, fumbling for gauze and bandages, his focus wavering. Mike notices the flush creeping up Will’s cheeks, bright and vivid against his otherwise pale, tired skin. And it warms something inside Mike, just a little, because Will wants to take care of him.

Summary
After Eddie had shown up with Steve knocked out on his back, the Party quickly regrouped and devised a plan to kill Vecna. The Government became a huge help towards the end of the fight and helped clear all charges from Eddie and the rest of the Party.
Joyce and Hopper began the move back to Hawkins, and to get the kids out of their hair, Nancy planned a Camping trip in the far-out Hawkins woods. The government and their desire to bribe the Party into forgetting what happened, over-heard Nancy and cleared a plot of land super far out in the forest just for their recreational use.

The many different times the Party tried to get Steve and Eddie together on their government-funded ‘We-fucked-up’ camping trip.
Takes Place in July 1986.
Part of a series but can be read as a one-shot, however the other books are good. This story was an epilouge as well!
