Summary
After the Agni Kai, Katara flees the capital with Zuko and takes him to the safety of Ember Island to await news from the others.
Zuko's lightning damage is extensive, and it is decided that he should stay there to heal, away from the stress and dangers of the palace.
Katara remains with him as his healer, and during his recovery, they grow even closer.

Summary
Baseball player Zuko once had it all—"all" mostly being an adoring fanbase and a team he loves. But then the team’s owner, his own father, abruptly trades him to a team in the South Pole. Now living (and playing) in relative obscurity, Zuko tries to adapt to his new life, but an annoying reporter won’t stop hounding him for an interview.
Zuko is never going to grant that buffoon an interview—or so he says. But then he meets the buffoon’s sister. And whenever she’s around, he can’t seem to lose a game.

Summary
Three years after Ozai's defeat, Zuko continues his journey of penance, and Katara is ambassador to the Fire Nation. The longstanding Fire Nation colonies in the Earthern Kingdom refuse to disband. Under the shadow of constant threats to Zuko's life as he struggles to lead a nation differently from his father, Katara learns to make a home for herself in the warmth of a buried sun.
