Summary
Do you know the story of the Red Spirit and the Five Monks? This is just gossip, so be aware of that.
The Monks were wonderers, unrelated to one another in everyway, the only thing they had in common was that they happened to be in the capital around a year ago, right before they came.
Monster that looked like animals and demons had a horrid child.
By the first month into their arrival, many died and the Emperor ordered walls. Stronger walls around the capital, around cities and towns. By the third month, roads were hardly ventured, only the brave, dumb, or desperate went on without proper protection. By the fifth month? Food was getting far more expensive and trade was slowing down.
Finally by the seventh month, the Monks were summoned to the Imperial Palace. They say the Emperor had met a Spirit, and this spirit knew the demons well and would offer her hand to stop them, but not alone. She would offer her power, and grant it to the Monks, in exchange, they were to wander. Wander and spreader her gift to those who needed it.
I'm not sure how true a story of some spirit is, but whatever inspired the story, the powers they claim she granted, are very much.

Summary
Everything in her life is so boring. Predictable. She's seen the same people all her life. There's the type that wants to use her and the type that wants to be used. Everyone she's ever met falls neatly into one of those two categories. Board members, office workers, even her own family. The distinction can be blurred further to say that they all want something from her. But what does she want? She wants something new. She wants proof that even just one person can be different(no, Blake doesn't count). When the Schnee Hospitality Group opens up a new restaurant in her own city, Weiss finally finds that something new and exciting: Someone that irritates her to no end.
