One moment, Draco was minding his own business; the next moment, a tempest in a silvery grey dress barrelled through the doors, oblivious to him sitting in the darkened staircase, crashing into him with gusto.
In the ensuing tangle of limbs, his firewhisky flew out of his hand, a thigh nearly broke his neck, and a very pointy elbow knocked the air from his lungs. Reflexively, he held on to a ribcage, to prevent it and the person it belonged to from further tumbling down the stairs.

And thus began a very complicated and unideal state of affairs in which Draco couldn’t ask whether the world-ending, all-consuming randiness he felt all day every day from that point on was a symptom of his magical fake-real (but mostly fake) pregnancy and something that she was also experiencing, or simply the logical progression of his hithertofore unacknowledged obsession with Hermione Granger.
Or, Draco has couvade syndrome (the magical version!) thrust upon him.

She covered her face, embarrassed. Peeking through her fingers, she saw that he was laughing, of all things.
