Summary
(Note: this fic has been extended from this oneshot.)
People always assumed it was Bokuto who first went chasing after Akaashi for attention. But it was actually the other way around. His very first day in Fukurōdani, Akaashi became curious about the loudmouthed second year wannabe-ace who got kicked out of practice for bad behaviour. The team’s official setter, a third year senpai, did not have the patience for him. And while Akaashi was always utterly, wholly and completely done with everything and everyone, he sometimes found that all that unnecessary vexation actually reserved in him some mild amount of tolerance for the truly exasperating things in life — of which Bokuto seemed to top the list.
So, Akaashi just thought it was kind of a shame.
He had no idea what he was getting into.

Summary
Akaashi could just do it now, not a thought for the others around him. Everyone was already heading for the showers now anyway, he could probably keep Bokuto an extra minute to do the confession and get it over with -
“Boys shouldn’t give other boys chocolates on Valentine’s.”- Akaashi lowered the chocolate back into the bag.

“Oh my god,” someone drawled, delighted. “I didn’t think he’d actually let you blindfold him.”
“Trust is an important factor in relationships, Kuroo-san,” Akaashi said dryly.
“Kenma would never let me blindfold him,” Kuroo sighed. There was some shuffling, and a loud smack, then Kuroo groaned. Akaashi took that to mean that Bokuto had probably injured him somehow.
