  The constant tap of my finger on the stand of the microphone drowned out the blaring music overhead. Glancing around, I see the crowd waiting for the start of the concert, some trying to climb on the stage, I see my band members urge me on. Focusing ahead of me, I open my mouth to begin.

  The music is loud, but the audience is louder, cheering us on.

   

  “Dusk!”

  I fell, blacking out.After a bit, i became lost in the performance. Big mistake.

  THUD

  People screamed, and the band rushes over, calling my name but i can’t hear them. Confused I reache up to scratch my head, only to feel something wet. Pulling my hand down, my vision became fuzzy, but I knew what happened.

  A speaker fell..
  I looked behind me and saw the shattered speaker, covered in my blood. Everything slowed down.
