Katsuki was going to kill that fucking trickster.
He managed to fight through the pain and force himself into a sitting position, only to immediately keel over onto his back, pulled down by an unfamiliar weight there.
“What the fuck?” he grumbled, reaching behind himself to feel at his back.
There was something leathery spread out on the ground under him.
Katsuki moved his hand around, trying to guess how big the leathery whatever-the-fuck was. Before he could get a definitive answer, however, his wrist bumped into something cold and smooth.
Something cold, smooth, and attached to his fucking head.
Katsuki’s attention immediately shifted to that. He felt his way along it, and the dread that had been gathering ever since he fell over congealed into a cold mass in the pit of his stomach.
It was a horn, and when he checked the other side of his head, there was an identical one there.
Which meant that the leathery things under him were…

Uraraka made a sound of protest. “Leggings are real clothes!”
“Not in my fucking kitchen they aren’t,” Katsuki snarled, stirring his fried mushrooms with renewed vigour.
The universe was punishing him for something. There was no other explanation.
“Whatever you say, man,” Kirishima said. Katsuki knew he was shrugging, even though he couldn’t see him. Friendship had been a mistake. “Be back in a few!”

Denki glanced over at the table where Shinsou was seated, and accidentally made eye contact with him.
While Denki was busy panicking, Shinsou gave a small nod of recognition, which made him panic more, and instead of doing something normal, like nodding back, he looked away as fast as humanly possible, then immediately regretted it, turned back around, and waved.
Shinsou apparently found Denki’s suffering amusing, because the corner of his mouth quirked up in a tiny smile, and he waved back.
“Wow,” Hanta said, giving Denki a convenient excuse to look away without trying to figure out a response.
“Shut up.”

“HEY, so I’ve been thinking,” Eijirou said, focusing very intently on cleaning the mugs and trying his best to sound like he wasn’t losing his shit (because he wasn’t, that would be ridiculous), “that maybe we should go get you your own clothes.”

Denki was staring at Bakugou like his brain had shorted out, and couldn’t even manage to join the conversation.
“Explain?” Hanta asked, his voice an octave higher than usual.
