A Christmas oneshot. THIS IS A REUPLOAD. I deleted the first version, made a few changes/expanded a few things, and re-upped it.
“Nick, are you awake?” Charlie Spring slowly and carefully opened their bedroom door, whispering towards the large blanket lump on their bed. He needed help with their holiday preparations, and fully expected his fiancé to have transformed into his usual bundle of Christmas excitement by now. “I need your help with a few things.”

“Oh, Nick.” Charlie didn't expect to see a pair of bloodshot eyes with heavy bags under them to stare back at him. Whether or not he intended to give away his feelings, Nick's face said everything he needed to know. Charlie quickly crossed the room and fell into their bed before pulling his larger fiancé into his arms. -

Suddenly, the lights turned on, and as if reflexes kicked in, Charlie felt his muscles strain under the pressure of the walls pushing back against him as he used every ounce of strength in his body to push further into the corner. He attempted to bury his tear soaked face into the sleeve of his jumper. He wanted to disappear, he wanted to become as small as possible and just not be noticed.

Charlie is patient as Nick does a double-take at his request, staggering back and knocking over a bottle of tequila. He sips his vodka lemonade and waits.
“What, er—now?!” Nick splutters.
“Why not?” He’s emboldened now. This loop is quickly becoming hell on earth, but maybe it doesn’t have to be, not all the time. There are no consequences for him in the loop. Anything he does is forgotten the next day. Nick could scream at him, punch him in the nose, do whatever he wants—tomorrow, he’ll still be here, serving him a vodka lemonade with a shy smile. What has he got to lose?

Charlie Spring is also a single father to a feisty little 9 year old girl named Ruby. Charlie and Ruby have been planning their Summer getaway to the beach for months and they're excited for a month of beaches and bonding.
It certainly would be unfortunate if some crazy mix up happened with the rental reservations...
