    Summary

New York City is a living, breathing organism of human pathways. Parallel lines. Cross-sections. Kismet meetings. Circularity.

Population: 8.4 million, give or take a few hundred thousand, and by some miracle, Satoru finds himself within arm’s reach of the man he thought he’d never see again, and in a city where he never expected to find him.

    Summary

That night Suguru sits on the floor in front of one of the biggest canvases he’s ever worked on. There’s a half empty bottle of red wine at his elbow, a paintbrush held delicately as he paints veins into Satoru’s hands. They’re poised in front of his face, dragging against skin and hovering right before they can sink into the white washes of his hair. Suguru had started the painting as soon as he had walked into his home, dumping the art supplies on tarp and dragging the massive canvas out from under his bed.

    Summary

Calm settles. For a while, only the wind speaks in hushed whispers. Out here, tonight, Suguru’s hair is illuminated in shades of blue as he brings the swirling orb to his mouth. No wincing, anymore, as he pushes it through his mouth and stretches his insides as the curse settles in his gut. His body takes it more easily now. From his vantage point, Satoru can see speckles of blood, black in the moonlight, adorning his face. His head tips, not looking at anything in particular, allowing Gojo to see the sharp angles of a strong jaw, of cut cheekbones, the softness of youth stripped from them.

“You can come down now,” he calls out. And like he has said it every night for the last 5 years, like time has bent and returned them at last to their final meeting place - “Satoru”.

Or: It's 5 years after Suguru defected from Jujutsu society, and nothing Satoru does can stop the carousel of memories that haunt him.

OBSESSIVE GOJO POST DEFECTION YUM (he needs therapy so bad). I love the angst in this, I feel like it captured a very unique snapshot of gojo's hurt and how his longing is borderline obsessive, stalkerish, etc. and yet, it makes sense for their relationship. how geto takes it in stride. how their dynamic subtly shifts, becomes more vulnerable throughout. by far one of my favorite flavors of canon universe gego. I will re-read this again... when I need to #FEEL.

    Summary

Tokyo Ballet is preparing its most ambitious work yet.
Satoru Gojo, the company’s untouchable étoile, is used to perfection. Suguru Geto, the new recruit from Kyoto Ballet, is anything but.

When Shoko casts them as dual leads, the company braces for chaos. What follows instead is a slow unraveling: rivalry bleeding into fascination, perfection cracking into something raw, tender, and terrifyingly real.

Because in ballet, every fall is just another kind of flight—and some collisions are impossible to choreograph.

Ballet AU! I love the writing so far. I've always wanted to read something related to dance with gego because I think body language and body movements intertwine with love so well. that is, movement that is not inherently sexual, but can be. (also insanely romantic). always looking for more ways that gego can communicate their kind of love 💙
