She brightly smiled and waved towards the adoring crowd, before taking a bow and leaving the rink.

She bleeds gold.
She learns this from a very young age, curled up on the floor, staring as blood pours out from a wound in her side. She has no one else to blame but herself. Still, in some twisted way, she finds she doesn’t mind her mistake as much. The pain seers through her mind, but the blood is mesmerizing.
