Summary
The Swiss National League doesn’t care about the legendary Hollander-Rozanov rivalry. When the MLH can’t negotiate with the Hockey Players’ Union in time to prevent a hockey lockout at the start of the 2015 season, the Zürich Lions jump at the chance to sign both Shane and Ilya to short-term contracts. For four months in Switzerland, they share a team, a line, a house, and a bed.
Then the lockout ends in January, and it’s time to go back. Back to different countries, cities, lives. Beds.

Shrugging one shoulder far more casually than he possibly feels, Ilya says, “I like both. Is secret, okay?”
“Okay,” Hollander says, voice cracking.
He doesn’t say anything else. The air’s so heavy around them that it feels like being in the middle of a scrum, the weight and heat of all those bodies pressing down on you. Danger always feels like hockey; it’s the most dangerous thing Ilya knows, except for this. Everything dangerous in his life involves men’s bodies and just how close he can get to them. Closer than he probably should.
Nobody knows why Shane Hollander dropped out of the 2009 draft at the last second, and a year later it stuns the whole hockey world when he's signed by the Boston Raiders. Having the two biggest stars in the league on the same line is great for Boston - but playing alongside their worst rival was never exactly in Shane or Ilya's plans. Especially not when staying away from each other starts to feel just as impossible as getting along.

Ilya reaches for the bridge of his nose to try and stop the blood flow now trickling down the tendons in his neck, seeping into the collar of his leather jacket. He hears footsteps, and steady hands are suddenly on his face, beating him to it. They pull the cigarette from his lips, and it drops to the concrete like a shooting star.
“Tilt your head,” says the voice, and now the fingers are on his chin, doing it for him. Said delicately, as if this is his first ever nosebleed. He likes the idea that the slammer of this door thinks Ilya is a stranger to violence. It’s a gentle thought, another Ilya from another life, who isn’t familiar with blood in his teeth and broken bones. Ilya cracks his eyes open.

Ilya Rozanov is a little obsessed with former figure skater Shane Hollander, Boston Bears new physio, after he hits him in the face with a car door the first time they meet. When they get off on the wrong foot, Ilya starts looking for ways to get Hollanders attention - which may or may not involve getting injured in increasingly ridiculous ways, starting too many fights on (and off) the ice, and general unhinged self-sabotaging - just in case it means he can spend more a little more time with a certain physio.Bookmarked by withoutmaps

He was stopped cold by the most beautiful man he had ever laid eyes on.RockHardRussian, streaming now, two thousand viewers currently. He was muscular, built, his chest on display in the preview picture, all that he wore was a golden crucifix around his neck. His golden curls were unruly in a sexy way, moles dotted his face and chest.
The corner of his mouth was quirked up, a tempting smirk that invited the viewer to click on his stream. What really grabbed Shane were his icy blue eyes, they were practically like a siren call. Those eyes drew him in and had him clicking before he could even process that he did it.
