Summary
"You have nowhere to go?”
“I don’t know,” Neuvillette repeats, progressively more frustrated at his inability to think, “I’ll go somewhere… anywhere,” he attempts, “You may leave me here—”
“Celestia; were you always this stubborn?” Wriothesley grumbles, “Is Meropide included in this somewhere, anywhere? If all you need is a week off, as long as you don’t complain about the cafeteria food, you can stay with me.”
Neuvillette thinks of his heat as a burden that he must hide and carry alone. He finds himself struggling to keep his secret while sheltered by Duke Wriothesley.
Meanwhile, Wriothesley just wants to get through the weirdest week of his life without going irreversibly insane.

Summary
At this proximity, a dull pressure settled in his chest. The air felt wrong. Weighted. Strained. As if something on the other side of the door were pulling at him. He recognized the feeling. Distress, with close and fraying edges.
The door creaked open, and the scent of Frostlamp Flower drifted in, quickly drowned by blood and the bitter tang of abyssal corruption.
Flins stilled.
Leaning against the doorway was a knight, at least by attire. A blackened breastplate bore the crest of the Knights of Favonius, its surface dulled by sand and grime.
Snippets of various meetings between Guide!Flins and Sentinel!Varka from the start to the end.

Summary
"Where does it go?" Varka's warm hands on his shoulders again, drawing him closer until he collides with heat and fabric and a strong, sturdy body beneath. Flins' eyes stay open. His gaze sticks to the azure of Varka's coat. "Where does all that hurt go, if we can't see it?"
Inside, he supposes. Inside his cold, aching chest, where his flames aren't enough to burn it away.
Finally, Flins shuts his eyes, fingers hooking in fabric, mouth pressed to Varka's shoulder behind layers of fabric. Fool, he thinks again, and imagines himself biting down. Varka has never seemed to know not to get so close.

Summary
A bright blue lantern glows at his hip, cutting through the fog. It almost seems to serve as a protective ward of sorts - Varka can barely see any fog that surrounds the man’s figure.
He’s so pretty, what the fuck, Varka thinks, and promptly runs face-first into the biggest gravestone that he has ever had the misfortune to come across.
- OR -
On his way to Nod-Krai, Varka receives a letter with a strange request. A potentially dangerous entity has been wreaking havoc on Nod-Krai's land despite its involvement with keeping the Wild Hunt at bay, and for some reason, they believe Varka is their last hope.
Personally, Varka doesn't think he can help much. But the snow leopard that keeps showing up and the pretty man that keeps saving his life might hold the keys to Nod-Krai's mystery.
