Summary
Zoey had always enjoyed putting things together.
From building Lego sets with her older brother in his room. To replacing car parts with her father on a Tuesday morning in July. To lazy evenings sat at the coffee table piecing together a jigsaw puzzle with her mom. There was a certain satisfaction Zoey found in going from a thousand splintered pieces to a finished product.
Huntrix is a fractured mess in the wake of Gwi-ma’s defeat. The tenuous relationship they’d started in the back third of the world tour was straining at the edges and threatening to buckle under the weight of their individual betrayals.
On the surface everything seemed fine - they were professionals after all. From the outside not a single hair or emotion was out of place. No faults to exploit, no fears to be shown.
But they were still cowards, still liars.
And Zoey isn’t sure if she knows how to fix the broken pieces of her heart.

When Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman) comes back from being replaced by Veranke during the Secret Invasion arc in the comics, she receives a book that links her to her soulmate through another book, and acts as a message-sending device anywhere in the universe. What she wasn't prepared for was discovering the book was already filled with loving thoughts between Carol Danvers and Jennifer Walters, her friends and fellow Avengers alum Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk.
Jess has to contend with the conflicting emotions that rise up from seeing these two women's private lives, wondering if she's intruding on their love or if she's worthy to be part of it at all.

Cindy Moon is doing her best. It's not every day a local hero gets accused of murder and disappears, but someone has to pick up his slack, even if she's not sure how she got stuck with the spider powers to do it.
Miles Morales is coping. He never really wanted to be a superhero, but he still manages to balance crimefighting and physics, which goes great up until someone posts a video of him and Cindy stopping a mugging online.
Peter Parker is fine. Yes, he had to save the universe not even a year ago, and then yes, a man he thought he could trust betrayed him and tried to kill him and all his friends, and yes, said man revealed his secret identity to the word, leaving him to go into hiding at the Stark's cabin, but he's fine. Really.
Peter Parker is fine until he sees a video of two Spider-Man impersonators, anyway, and then things happen very quickly.

Or, after his trip to Europe, Peter Parker has some reservations about superheroes popping up out of the blue, and Tony Stark is going to kill a runaway Spider-Man as soon as he finds him.

Letting go of Aurora. Finding a home among other werewolves. The answers couldn't be any clearer, could they? Mulan and Ruby began their journey together for those very reasons, with each convinced that what they need must be hidden somewhere far ahead in the distance, unwilling to be found.
