Summary
Po never gave much thought to his appearance either, especially in comparison to Thame, whose work revolved around his looks. Thame surrounded himself with very attractive people, and that was never a problem for Po. He knew he was Thame's first relationship, but surely, he had liked people before, and according to Jun, Thame's best friend, Po was the complete opposite of what Thame was usually attracted to.
“Thame won't like you.” Jun had said back then, dust all over his clothes and a big mocking grin on his face. “He likes tiny girls, not big guys like you.”

He stood up, pacing the length of the small living room. "Almost what?" Est asked, his voice strained.
William stopped in front of him, his hands clenched into fists at his sides. He looked down at the man who had been the center of his world for so long. The man who had built him up and torn him down, sometimes in the same breath.
"Almost a couple. Almost real. Almost happy," William said, his voice shaking with suppressed emotion. "I'm tired of almost. If I'm doing wrong by loving you, stop me. Please."
