    Lara Croft, Countess of Abbingdon, and Diana, Princess of Themyscira, had met under inauspicious circumstances, both seeking the same treasure in an abandoned crypt. However, they quickly warmed to one another, and began to depend on one another during their particular adventures. In a certain expedition to a forgotten temple of Aphrodite, a ritual is needed to dispel the corruption plaguing the ruins. Neither Lara or Diana have any objections with regard to what that ritual entails.
