Except she hasn’t eaten anything sufficient for days so all that comes up is bile as she retches and tears stream down her face.
If Finnick saw her like this, she thinks, he would unplug her television and make her sit outside in the cold. Pull her against him and rub at the gooseflesh on her arms like a brother would his younger sister. He’d ruffle her hair maybe, squeeze her shoulder comfortingly. Tell her that it’s going to be okay.
But Finnick isn’t here. No one is.
And so, without anyone to stop her from doing so, Johanna continues watching the Games.

Above Wylan’s bony left ankle, metal gleams: a heavy iron manacle, welded to a long chain of links that snake behind him, clattering on the floor as he moves.
Jesper watches it, mouth open as everything he’d assumed shatters and comes back together in a new shape. “You’re a prisoner!” he blurts out.
Wylan twists sharply to look at him, face creased in a familiar aggravated scowl. “Are you an idiot?” he demands. “The locked door wasn’t a clue?”
There are new weapons appearing in the Barrel. Kaz sends Jesper undercover to find out where they’re coming from. Jesper finds something else entirely.

“So you think I should ask him to marry me?”
“If you want to,” Kaz answers evenly. “It would be the best financial decision you’ve ever made.”
The tone of Kaz’s voice makes Jesper want to throttle him. It’s smug and sincere and it makes the words take on too many meanings. He misses Nina. He really misses Inej.

Or, after Wylan's official inauguration as a Councilman, Jesper faces insecurities about his role in Wylan's new life. A party, a comment from Kaz, and a fireworks display lead to conversation about what the future holds for them.
This happens in the show universe as the Wesper deleted scene plays a key role. It takes place after the would-be events of the duology (i.e. Jan is in prison, Inej is at sea, Wylan is the head of the Van Eck household, etc.)

Snape brought Remus his Wolfsbane in his office, a pinched expression on his sallow face. “Drink,” he said, and stood there watching the whole time he did. He hadn’t done that since the first few months of classes, and it made Remus nervous, even despite his own personal resolution not to let Snape get to him.
“It’s best drunk slowly,” he hinted, taking a careful sip. Snape stared stonily back until he finished, then snatched the goblet back and stalked out of the room.
That night, Buckbeak was set to be sentenced. Remus had a niggling feeling that Harry and his friends might go down to visit Hagrid, placing themselves in Sirius Black’s way; but when he checked, they were all in Snape’s lab.
Detention, he realized ruefully, and closed the Map without looking much closer than that.
