I found this concept online and I must say I got intrigued by it. So, I imagined the classical “Rumi’s patterns gets discovered way before the Saja Boys appear” trope under this light, and tried not to make it an AngstFest where all characters are terribly OOC, and I believe more in line with what the movie presented us as characterization – yeah, except Zoey, which is borderline. Hopefully, I managed to not embarrass myself. Fair warning, I just love Zoey to death and find her personality endearing and extremely close to mine (ADHD adult here with some slight Autistic Spectrum Disorder sprinkled in for fun).
So Zoey is here both as a homicidal sociopath and as a Godsent Divine savior.
I imagined her able to compartmentalize, detaching herself completely from emotional distress when such distress is unbearable… yeah, I just described dissociation.I would really like to know what you guys think. I’ve been on hiatus for years now, writing FF back in the times when essentially there was only ff dot net available. So Life happended, i suppose.
But then, KPDH shocked me, and reawakened me the interest in telling a story.

p.s. this is sort of different from the canon re world. Angie is more controlled by Donna than having actions or thoughts of her own, and she isn't really written into the story. I wanted to explore Donna's character more with this fic. -
