It should have been a simple evening milling undercover around Ninjago's elite. Instead, Jay gets a painful reminder in trusting the very people they fight to protect in this city.

Summary
The Secret Ninja Force has one rule: they may never reveal their secret identities to anyone. Not even to each other.
The morning after a Garmadon attack, Lloyd lets himself get kidnapped in a bid to prove his innocence. His plan goes awry when he learns of the kidnappers’ true intentions: if Garmadon does not surrender in seven days, they will take Lloyd’s life as forfeit.
Shortly after Lloyd is kidnapped, the Green Ninja disappears, too. The Secret Ninja Force is launched into chaos as they struggle to choose between rescuing Lloyd and looking for their missing teammate.
The clock is ticking. And things are about to get very, very messy.

The year is AD 4600, and civilization has moved beyond Earth. Space exploration became space colonization. Planets became kingdoms, and kingdoms joined to form an empire. But others sought places beyond the scope of the empire, and as they populated distant realms, they lived and fought and died, unaffected for a time by the rise and fall of other worlds. Just as well – they had their own problems to deal with.

Getting thrown into a far off realm hadn’t been a purposeful decision on Cole’s behalf, but it wasn’t one that he’d change. Following Zane into a desolate wasteland of snow and ice with a broken mech, a corrupting scroll; and nothing else, he’d rather be trapped with his brother than still be at home and wondering about his well-being. Whether he’d lost him all over again. Then a stranger disrupted the fragile routine they’d established, and Cole was still willing to protect his waylaid brother.
