Summary
At seven o’clock, Pastor Jeremy sets them free for a quick fifteen minute break. Jeongin is out of his seat immediately, muttering something to Madelyn about needing to use the bathroom, then hoofs it upstairs, jogging past the dark, empty sanctuary. There’s another bathroom right down the hall from the small group room, so no one should have any reason to come all the way upstairs. He bulldozes his way in, flies into a stall and slams the door shut, sliding the lock home, before throwing himself against it. His hands tremble against his sides. No matter how hard he stares into the toilet, it does not offer him any better alternatives. Drowning himself, maybe.

“Anything.” Hyunjin leans down, pushing deeper into him, then pulling out to thrust back in. Yongbok’s back bows, and Hyunjin catches his open mouth in a filthy kiss. “Anything you ask, I’d do it for you.”
Maybe it’s because Hyunjin is an exorcist that he speaks with such finality. Yongbok cups his cheeks as gently as he can while Hyunjin rocks them on the bed. “I don’t need you to do anything drastic,” he whispers. “Just stay alive, and come back to me.”

“Whose altar should I lie on?” Rover doesn’t bother muffling his pleased gasp when Scar digs into the soft skin of his throat and sucks a harsh, possessive mark into it. “Th-That’s what I wondered, after we met. Jinzhou’s, surely.”

Lacking direction and a vision for his future, Aventurine finds respite from thinking about all that by playing a bizarre game of Sunday's making. Of course he knows what he's getting into. It's just that Sunday really pushes the limits of common decency sometimes. Through all of it, Ratio is his stoic advisor, as he ever is to Aventurine's bullshit.

Scar already has a grin on his face as he saunters closer to where Rover stands in the empty training room. “You came here alone?” He barks out a laugh. Scar shakes his head, wrapping his arm around the shoulders of Rover. “You didn’t come ask little old me for help?”
Rover shakes Scar off of him, scowling as he backs up away from the man. “I wasn’t aware I needed to ask anyone for help training. You guys just don’t have anything to train with.”
“Why fight something that’s not moving when fighting something that does move is so much better?” Scar moves far enough away from Rover that one could say that they were on completely opposite sides of the room. He raises his fists, adjusts his legs, and smirks. “Come on, fight me, Rover.”
“You want a fight?” Rover asks. Already knowing the answer, he raises his sword. “Then come at me.”
