There was something about the word ‘pretty’ that seemed to strike a chord within Nagisa, for a dusting of light pink washed over his cheeks and the intensity of his gaze wavered. He carefully straightened his position, moving to rummage through the first-aid kit. “... What’s gotten into you?”
Or, how Karma and Nagisa learned to love themselves and each other, ft. bloodred skirts and bloody alleyways.

One well-written fic after the other, I think these authors are trying to make me ascend- they succeeded by the way. There was a lump in my throat all the while reading this ten thousand words piece of art with beautiful characterization and just the right amount of tension. I mean, seriously, this had no right to make me feel like that- it was as if my innermost thoughts and feelings were ripped up from inside me, like my body was split in half and I was exposed, seen. I truly enjoyed reading this and look forward to when I reread this again.
Somehow, I felt understood. After a long time of building up walls and living within my mind, this unassuming fic translated what I feel to actual coherent and wonderfully contructed words that I couldn't have delivered it better.
This made me love Nagisa and Karma more- not just as a ship, but because of their character. This was an experience that me realize, again, why I love well-written characters the most in any form of media. Goodness, I hope to read something like this again. Salutations to the author who made this possible, I don't think anyone could have written these two better- except maybe the actual author/mangaka of Assassination Classroom.

Summary
Nagisa looks at him like he can’t quite believe what he’s seeing, like it’s the first time he set his eyes upon him. It stirs something inside Karma that he’s afraid of acknowledging.
“You’re the one who told me to show up.” Karma reminds, grasping on the remaining sense he has.
Nagisa, in all his beautiful glory, smiles at him and the rotation of the world suddenly shifts.
