“You will know, when the time is right, that he will be yours. You will nurture him as your own.” She continues, her tone definite.
Tommy bites his lip, watching as the dead hells gate sits untouched in the woods. “Will you tell me his name, at least?”
“That, is for him to decide.”

Tommy is destined by Eywa to save a helpless human child. However, with his own memory gone of who he used to be, or that he was destined for anything at all; the task of looking after Spider is made a lot more harder than it should have to be.
