He was so beautiful, when I met him.
The worst thing is, Crowley knows he was. No great yellow eyes that made babies cry, no stupid snake tattoo crawling up his ear that made strangers ask if he’d been to prison.
And he smiled, all the time. He was happy. Secure in the knowledge he was so, so loved.
At least he thought he was.
