Summary
Zam didn't know when he got to the point of caring about Derap so much he would throw away all his morals and all his loyalties for him, for the idea of love Derap gave him. Zam was always one to fold for people being nice to him, he was used to being stepped all over, walking the distance behind his partners, but Derap was different.
Derap treated Zam like human, he walked beside Zam and cared for Zam, so despite this hole Derap found himself in, this endless pit and this endless abyss of destruction and sin, Zam would stand by him. For that idea and fragment of humanization Derap gave him.
Or; Deraps spiral into madness, and Zam's inability to stop it.
