He's learned two vital things about Vincent— you don't mention God and you do not mention his queer habits. It's the quickest way to make him hostile.

His hunger knows no bounds with Vincent and he struggles beneath it.

Or Alastor is a freak and dresses Vox’s headless body like Vincent with the plan of eating him but I listened to Hozier while writing so it ended up reading pretty yearningly.
