Summary
With the icy wind chilling him to the bone and snow starting to cover him, Xie Lian doesn't get back up. In this weather it’s unlikely he’ll make it back down the mountain without succumbing to hypothermia anyway, he might as well just let it happen here. It's better than making his husband worry.

After Xie Lian has a nightmare about losing Hua Cheng for good, Hua Cheng holds him and sings him back to sleep.
