Max, through no fault of his own had made himself exceptionally hard to love. Oscar had been relentless in his plight to gain Max’s respect, and honestly, he hadn’t seen much improvement or progress. But in time, he learned to read the man. That is when he realized that Max doesn’t love loudly, not like he was used to. He loved quietly, steadfast and wholeheartedly.
“I do not mind being somebody’s secret, but I will not be a dirty one. Nor will I be somebody’s Hail Mary and Our Father after Sunday confession.” Lando looked contemplative as Charles continued on, “it would not be easy. Not for us, not for you and Oscar. Instead, Regina lays her head down on Brianna’s thighs and closes her eyes. Freddie tucks herself against Brianna’s side, apparently no longer worried about getting ill herself, and Joan does the same on her opposite side. It’s always a little difficult when one of them gets sick, especially since it always leads to all the rest of them getting ill too, but every time, without fail, it’s worth it to take care of each other.

Freddie and Brian exchanged a look that Roger wasn’t very fond of. It seemed off-putting and strange to him. “I’m going to call John,” Brian mentioned, standing to his feet, shuffling over to the phone in the corner of the room.
“Am I missing something? Who is John?” Roger asked, looking between the two.
Brian slammed his hand down onto the ringer, turning back to look at his friend. Freddie, who had been mysteriously quiet for the past few moments, shifted in his seat. “Roger darling, what year is it?” He asked him quietly.
Roger shrugged his shoulders lightly. “Nineteen seventy.” He answered, clear as day.
Much to Roger’s shock and awe, his answer had been incorrect. It was nineteen seventy-six.
