Something was teetering on the edge of her memory, something that when she tried to chase it, disappeared like the dust Lucy was shaking from the drapings on the wall - something that was very, very loud, like her horn but louder, and heard in all rooms and all dwellings. And it meant that they all should hide, but when Susan snatched after it, after what they should be hiding from, it was gone.
