There’s not a lot Logan finds to connect with in other people. But the anger, it’s familiar. He could sense it in this guy—Wade, apparently—from the moment they’d met. At the world, sure. At the TVA asshole, definitely. Maybe even a little at himself.
Logan just doesn’t know why so much of it’s directed at him.

At Wade’s question, Logan pauses to think. Scratches his balls for a second, and says, “I lived at Xavier’s school for a while, before I left. Lived in a clapboard boarding house about seventy years back. A couple of times, I slept in a park with other people nearby. Do those count?”
“That was a rhetorical question,” says Wade. “Some might even call it an accusatory one. Mostly because—dude. I’m a fucking mess. But you’re even worse.”

“How many times can you come before you start shooting blanks? Or does that never happen because of the regen?” Wade asks, voice deceptively light, pushing his thumb into that spot at the base of the head and making Logan gasp out a wet hurt sound.
It’s a trick question, and one he can’t fucking win either way. Whatever he says, Wade’ll want proof, will want to strip his dick raw and see what happens. He should keep his trap shut and pray that the ADHD does the rest.
“I don’t know,” Logan says instead, blinking past the hot sweat stinging his eyes, “no one’s ever…”

Summary
Wade climbs on the edge of the bed and lies down on his side, leaving a perfectly decent amount of space between the two of them. He watches Logan, his face unusually relaxed, the lines that radiate from the corners of his eyes, the facial hair he’s been letting grow into a fuller beard lately, the dark bruise blooming on his cheekbone, the patched up wound on his temple. He thinks back to the terrifying moment when he stormed into the warehouse and saw him seemingly lifeless in a pool of blood.
God, he loves him.
He buries his face into the bed sheets, and the bed sheets smell like heaven - they smell of Logan.

Logan gets kidnapped and tortured, temporarily having lost his healing factor. Lucky he’s got Wade to rely on, now.
