Rui wasn't much of a chef himself. He had the luxury of his parents (and, occasionally, Nene's) to make every meal for him. However, to make Tsukasa happy, he'd open a Michelin-starred restaurant if it was required.
He also wanted to make something that would make Tsukasa feel such bliss.

in all seriousness though i love how this particular role was so difficult for tsukasa. something about him viewing it from an outsider's lens and not taking from his own experiences bc he thought he didn't have any nor did he understand what love was (when with his past roles he always does something to try get in the head of a character he plays)

this is one of my favorite ruikasa fics now like this needs to be put on a ruikasa museum or something because its so good. of course rui understood hito perfectly! their experiences are basically the same!
it's a play that can move the fictional author to finish the manga. i hope.

Looking at Tsukasa like this, close as they are with the wind blowing at their backs, Rui wonders if there would ever come a day where he wouldn’t find Tsukasa to be the most interesting boy in the world – a day where he would get tired of the star’s brightness and deem him as nothing more than a burnt-out constellation.
He finds that theory to be utterly pointless and impossible to prove.
Rui and Tsukasa are friends. Rui wants to be more than that.
