Summary
Trucy Wright has a bad feeling about Kristoph Gavin. Ever since he entered her life, her family has been... broken. Trucy doesn't know how to explain what's happening to her family, but something's not right, and she needs to fix it. She finds hope in a photograph, showing an old friend of her daddy's.
Trucy is determined to track down this 'friend' -- Miles Edgeworth.
And, she's willing to travel internationally without parental consent to bring him back to the States.
This is an awful plan.
NEXT UPDATE: ok! good news and bad news. Good news! I found an old draft that I thought I published months ago. Bad news -- the draft is part of the next chapter, and it is hardly halfway finished and we are already nearing 10k words. I'm hoping to publish by the end of the week (1/31) at worst, but hopefully sooner than that. We'll just see how much of a monster this chapter ends up being.

Summary
The crime scene that Miles Edgeworth finds himself on is a strange one. The culprit didn't leave behind any clues to point to their identity except for one- a decisive witness who'd viewed the whole murder firsthand.
A witness who also happened to be a living, breathing firebird who introduced himself as Phoenix.
With Phoenix's aid, Miles works to find enough evidence to bring this murderer to justice, all while slowly learning more about his strange new investigative partner.

raaahhh gotta love person under curse who physically cannot talk about curse (which also does nothing to help with their repression). ok i'll b fr this is literally one of the most creative takes i've seen on actual phoenix! phoenix wright and overall one of the most interesting AUs i have read and im not even finished (at the time of writing this)
