Summary
Killing today was not in his original plan.
It wasn’t his fault everything turned out worse than anyone could’ve imagined.
He should’ve known better.
To sum it up: Jason kills, Bruce forgets how to communicate like a human being, and Jason isn’t exactly a pro in that area either. A lot of yelling, a lot of crying, call it an impromptu therapy session.

On the fourth day, it becomes clear that Joe is organizing something—more muscle than usual, a few more Black Mask affiliates than there should be. The few glimpses of Joe that Dick gets, he’s on his phone, speaking rapidly and gesturing emphatically.
On the fifth day, everything is quiet. No one comes, no one goes.
On the sixth day, Tim calls Dick: they’re not sure where Jason is. And yeah, maybe that’s just normal, and they’re not panicking yet. But they’re not sure where he is. And they’re about to start looking.
And on the seventh day, Bruce shows up at his door with Jason standing next to him, pale and hacking out a cough, putting too much weight on Bruce’s shoulder, and says: “I need to ask you a favor.”

There are only four facts they can conclude. One, it is tied intrinsically to the winners of the World Championship of League of Legends; two, the champion whose powers are represented are usually the champion the player chose to have a Worlds skin of; three, the strength of the manifestation of powers as well as the actual representation are all up to chance; and four, the timing of when the powers show themselves are completely random. The only consistency, so far, is that it’s before the skins get officially released.
It becomes a badge of honor amongst the general populace; to see their favorite players have powers representative of their chosen champion means they’re a winner. It means they succeeded. It means they stand above the rest of the world.
The players, in question, just find it to be a general nuisance.
